ACAS 0300 123 1100 for men and woman of all genders is impartial and cannot give advice but it can help you to understand your rights and options in the workplace. You do not have to be a member of ACAS to use their services. 

Rights of Woman 0207 490 0152 and the Scottish Woman's Rights Centre 08088 010 789 both offer step by step free legal advice on employment. They offer a first come first served phone service. They offer an email service depending on availability.

Victim Support UK 0808 16 89 111, Victim Support Scotland 0800 160 1985 and Victim Support NI 02890 243 133 - offer free and confidential support whether or not you have reported the incident to the police. 

Rape Crisis England and Wales 0808 500 2222, Rape Crisis Scotland 08088 010 302, Rape Crisis Northern Ireland 0800 0246 991. Rape Crisis offer free phone and online chat 24/7. 

Moray Rape Crisis (Scotland) 01343 550 407 Moray's service is fully inclusive of male survivors. 

Cymorth i Ferched Cymru (Welsh Woman's Aid) 0808 80 10 800, Safeline's National Male Survivors 0808 800 5005 and Male Survivors Partnership (online contact form and postal address) are services offered in Wales. 

GALOP 0800 999 5428 - supports LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence in the UK.

Ask Marc 0121 289 6402 offers men independent, confidential advice and support.
 

Practical Support

If you have recently been raped or sexually assaulted, you can visit a Sexual Assault Referral Centre, SARC.

At a SARC, you can get medical and practical support. You can:

  • Get a forensic medical examination to collect forensic evidence. You can do this whether or not you report to the police.
  • Get medical help for any injuries.
  • Get free pregnancy and STI tests.

You can find your nearest SARC by going to the NHS website and typing in your location.

Rights of Woman 0207 251 8887 and Scottish Woman's Rights Centre 08088 010 789, offer step by step free and confidential legal advice. 

Survivors UK 0203 598 3898 is a society that acknowledges and advocates for men and non-binary people who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse . They do not offer free legal advice but they do offer a free appointment with a lawyer.
